How to promote your OLX ad on Facebook, Instagram and Google

Do you have one OLX ad and want to quickly show it on Facebook, Instagram, Google Business or TikTok? Don't copy the entire description. Make it a short post: one strong photo or video, a clear first sentence, a few specifics and a simple invitation to contact us or go to the offer. Before publishing on TikTok, check that the description, material and required channel settings match your post.

OLX is a source, not a publishing destination

In Spreenity, OLX is a source of material for a post, not a place where Spreenity publishes. You can use your own active ad as a starting point for text, photos and a link, then prepare a message for Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile or TikTok.

Start with one thing you want to show

In the case of a single advertisement, it is easiest to lose the recipient's attention due to too many details. Choose the main topic of the post: product, service, available date, local availability or specific price. The rest can be left in the ad linked to.

Quick post layout

The first sentence tells people what you offer. The second adds the most important specific detail. The third suggests what to do next: send a message, call, or open the ad.

Select one main photo

On Facebook, Instagram and Google Business, the first photo or video does the most work. Choose a frame that immediately shows the offer without making anyone guess what is in the material. If you are selling an item, show it cleanly and up close. If you are promoting a service, choose the result of the work or the place where it can be used.

  • Don't start with a collage if one photo explains the offer better.
  • Avoid dark, blurry and too far away shots.
  • If the offer has an important visual feature, show it in the first photo.

Shorten the description to a few sentences

The description from OLX usually contains more information than the post needs to start. Move only what helps you quickly decide whether it's worth clicking or writing. A good minimum is: what it is, where it is available, what condition it is in and how to contact us.

  1. Start with something specific, for example: "TV cabinet available in Krakow."
  2. Add 2-3 most important features, without a full list of details.
  3. End with a short prompt: "Write in a message" or "Link to the announcement in a comment."

Add locality and clear contact

When it comes to offers from OLX, the local context is often more important than a long description. The name of the city, district or information about personal collection helps the recipient quickly assess whether the offer is realistic for him. If shipping is possible, write it simply and without hiding the conditions.

Leave one clear path at the end of the post: a link to the announcement, a request for a private message or a company contact number if you consciously want to show it publicly. Don't split the recipient between several different instructions.

If you're posting on multiple channels at the same time, you don't have to end each post the same way. On Facebook, you can invite people to go to the announcement, on Instagram, a short instruction will work better, and in Google Business, a local next step will work better.

Write honestly about the condition of the offer

The post is intended to encourage you to check the offer, but it should not hide information that will come out in the conversation anyway. If the product has traces of use, write it neutrally. If there is a limited date, size, color or availability, show it right away. This description saves time for both parties.

No shortcuts by rules

Don't encourage activities that violate OLX, Facebook, Instagram or Google policies. When publishing on TikTok, additionally check whether the description, material and required channel settings comply with the platform's rules. It is better to link to the current offer and clearly describe the conditions than to promise something that the post does not confirm.

Repost differently if the offer is still valid

If the offer is still available after a few days, do not paste the same post twice. Change the first sentence, show another strongest argument, or choose a different opening photo. This makes the redo look fresh and doesn't feel like an automatic repeat.

You can also specify the locality: instead of a general description, add a city, district, possible pickup or the nearest contact date. It's still one simple post, only better suited to people who can actually benefit from the offer.
