How to prepare photos and videos for publication
Good materials do not have to be perfect, but they should be readable and ready for quick publication. If you want to post more efficiently, start by simply preparing photos for Facebook, Instagram, Google Business and TikTok and a short video only for channels that support them.

First, decide what you want the main point of your post to be
Before you choose a file, answer one question: what should the recipient see in the first second? A product, service, end result, promotion, or maybe a specific announcement? The sooner you figure this out, the easier it will be to discard random shots.
- Choose one main topic for your photo or video.
- Remove materials that are dark, blurry or overloaded with details.
- If you are promoting an offer, show what the customer should remember immediately.
How to prepare photos so that they look good after publication
Clear, simple and legible photos work best, even on a phone. You don't have to do a photo session. In practice, all you need is a good frame, tidy background and one opening photo that immediately shows the topic of the post.
- Start with the best photo, because it usually makes the first impression.
- Don't mix several similar shots if they differ only in detail.
- Crop the frame so that the most important element is clearly visible even on a small screen.
- Leave some space around the product or person instead of cutting everything too tight.
- If you're taking photos with your phone, choose a sharp shot in good daylight.
Quick technical minimum
Prepare photos for publication in JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. The minimum size is 600×600. If you have iPhone photos in HEIC or HEIF, you can add them as is.

How to prepare a short video without unnecessary fussing
Video works best when it quickly shows a movement, an effect or a simple presentation of an offer. It doesn't have to be long. Shorter, specific material usually wins over a video in which nothing happens for a few seconds.
- Start with your strongest shot instead of a long intro.
- Keep the frame steady and avoid sudden movements.
- Show the product, service or effect in use, not just the surroundings.
- If you're recording on your phone, make sure you have good lighting and clear sound if the video contains it.
- Before publishing, watch the whole thing from start to finish and remove any dead starts or broken ends.
Things to remember when it comes to video
Video is available on Pro and Premium plans for channels that support it. The safest way is to prepare an MP4, WebM or MOV file, up to 90 MB and length from 2 to 60 seconds. If you want your publication to appear in Google Business, choose text or photos instead of video.
Do a quick check before publishing
The last minute before you hit "publish" saves the most revisions. It is worth viewing the material as the recipient would: quickly, on a small screen and without guessing what the author had in mind.
- Check whether the main photo or the first frame of the video immediately shows the subject.
- Make sure the file is sharp, clear and has no accidentally cropped elements.
- If you add several photos, leave only those that really add something.
- Watch the material on your phone, because that's where it will be viewed most often.
- Only post photos and videos you have legal rights to.
If you are promoting an ad with OLX, choose your materials even more carefully
When promoting an ad, don't just throw in everything. OLX import in Spreenity starts from the first photo from the ad, so it is worth making sure that it best shows the offer. If you need more frames, add them consciously before publication.
- To start, choose a photo that best shows the offer without unnecessary background.
- If you're describing product details, add one close-up instead of several almost identical photos.
- Before publishing, correct the order of the photos so that the story is readable from the first frame.
- Only use your own active ads and materials that you can use further.
Don't aim for perfection, just readability
The best material for publication is not always the most impressive, but the one that immediately communicates what you offer. Good light, a simple frame and a short selection usually give a better result than long corrections of each file.
If you want to act faster, prepare a small set of ready-made photos and 1-2 short videos to spare. This makes it easier to publish a post immediately or schedule it for later without searching for materials at the last minute.
