Why can't I see my Facebook page when connecting

If you don't see your Page when you connect Facebook, this can usually be sorted out in a few minutes. Most often, the problem is that you are logging in with the wrong Facebook account that has access to the page, or the page itself is not assigned to your account as you think.

First, check if it's a company website

For publication, you choose Facebook Page, i.e. a company or brand page. A private profile will not appear in the list of sites to connect.

If you run your brand from a regular profile and don't have a separate page, first make sure you actually have a Facebook Page created.

Most common cause: logging in with the wrong account

This is the most common scenario. On Facebook, it's easy to have several accounts or several saved sessions in your browser, and then when you connect, you may log in with the wrong profile that you use to manage the page.

Check this before your next attempt

If you don't see the page, log out of Facebook or pay attention to which account you log in with in the connection window. Simply changing the browser tab is often not enough.

Check if you really have access to this page

Even if the page belongs to your company, your Facebook account must have access to it. This is especially important if the website was set up by someone else, is run by an agency or you handle a client's account.

  • Go to Meta Business Suite or page settings and see if your account has access to this specific Facebook Page.
  • If you're working for a client, ask for the appropriate role or site access before trying again.
  • If you have several pages, make sure that access applies to the exact page you want to link.

Make a quick connection again

Once you know you're logging in with the right account and have access to the site, it's best to go through the connection again from the beginning. This is usually the fastest way to refresh the page list correctly.

  1. Go to the "Accounts" tab.
  2. Click "Connect Facebook".
  3. Log in with the correct Facebook account.
  4. Check if your site appears in the list and select it to connect.

If you manage several websites or a client's website

When there are more pages, it's easy to confuse the names or assume that they are all assigned to one account. In practice, it's best to compare the name of the site you post to on a daily basis with what you see when you link.

If the page still doesn't show up, go back to your Facebook access settings and make sure permissions are set to the exact account you use to log in.

What to do once the page appears

Once your site is visible in the list, select it and save the connection. Then you can start preparing your post and decide whether you want to publish immediately or schedule a date.
